タイにおける歯科医師資格の取得について
歯科医師の資格を取得するには、タイ国教育局から認定されている歯学部を卒業しなくてはなりません。通常6年間（Thammasart大学を除く）です。卒業後、歯科診療の免許を取るには、Thai Dental Councilの試験を合格しなくてはなりません。その試験は筆記と臨床実技試験があります。
タイで外国籍の患者様の診療をするには、Thai Dental Councilの免許を得る必要があります。
上記のすべての条件は、ある程度、日本で使用されているシステムとよく似ています。
To get a degree of DDS, the applicant has to graduate from the DDS Program which is certified by or accepted by the Ministry of Education of Thailand. The program is usually 6-yr course (except of that of Thammasart U.). To obtain a license to practice after obtaining the DDS, the applicant has to pass the examination indicated by the Thai Dental Council. This includes written examination, practice in lab or clinical examination in various fields of clinical and basic science of Dentistry.
To be able to treat the foreign patients in Thailand, the dentist has to get a license from the Thai Dental council.
All of the conditions above are, to some extent, very similar to the system used in Japan.
